THY in talks with Airbus for the largest aircraft purchase in its history
Turkish Airlines (THY) management met with Airbus officials in Istanbul for the largest aircraft order in its history.

According to information received, THY, which currently holds the title of the airline flying to the most countries in the world, continues its efforts to add new aircraft to its fleet of 435.
Accelerating its efforts with the goal of having the youngest and most modern fleet in Europe, THY executives met with Airbus officials in Istanbul. During the meeting, consultations were held with Airbus officials regarding the purchase of a total of 355 aircraft, in addition to the 10 A350-900 aircraft that THY has already decided to purchase, consisting of 75 A350-900 aircraft, 15 A350-1000 aircraft, 5 A350F cargo aircraft, and 250 A321 NEO aircraft.
Furthermore, meetings were also held with officials from the engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce for the provision of engine maintenance services and spare engines for the A350 aircraft.
