To be uploaded to the system! A new era for housing and automobiles began today
The new regulation for housing and automobile listings, announced a long time ago, went into effect today. According to the regulation, Turkish ID numbers, full names, and phone numbers will now be uploaded to the Electronic Listing Verification System. Fines of up to 100,000 TL will be imposed for deceptive listings.

The new listing regulation, which will prevent exorbitant prices in housing and second-hand automobiles, came into effect as of today. Within the scope of the regulation, an obligation has been introduced for listing platforms to verify the name, surname, and Turkish ID number or foreign ID number and phone number of the person wishing to place a listing, or the title and phone number of a legal entity, before membership or the publication of the listing.
AUTHORIZATION WILL ALSO BE ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM
The obligation to verify that the vehicle or real estate subject to the listing belongs to the member placing the listing, or—if the member is an individual—to their first or second-degree blood relatives or spouse, or that the member placing the listing has been authorized by the owner of the vehicle or real estate, also went into effect as of today.
ADMINISTRATIVE FINES BETWEEN 10 THOUSAND AND 100 THOUSAND LIRA
With these regulations, it is aimed to prevent untrue, deceptive, or fake vehicle and real estate listings published through anonymous memberships on listing platforms providing services in the electronic environment, to prevent listing pollution and information pollution in these areas, and to prevent speculative price increases in vehicles and real estate. Within the scope of the regulation, an administrative fine of between 10 thousand and 100 thousand TL will be applied to the lister for each untrue listing.
LOGIN WILL BE MADE VIA E-GOVERNMENT
Through the Electronic Listing Verification System (EİDS) established within the Ministry of Trade, persons providing an electronic environment for listings regarding the sale of vehicles and real estate belonging to others will be enabled to perform identity and authorization verification of the lister who wishes to place a listing, during membership applications for new memberships, and before the first listing entry for existing memberships.
In the first stage, the system will be accessed with an e-Government password. With the new regulation, real estate agents and auto dealers will be able to place vehicles or real estate they are authorized to sell on the market by verifying with their authorization certificates.
