Top gainers and losers on the stock market revealed

The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul closed the week down 0.22 percent at 10,898.70 points. Throughout the week, the index continued its efforts to surpass the 11,000-point mark but was unsuccessful.

The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul lost 0.22 percent of its value during the week of November 24-28, 2025, closing at 10,898.70 points. The index saw its lowest level of the week at 10,816.41 points and its highest at 11,032.53 points. Global economic data and the agenda were influential in the index's performance.

The banking index gained 5.54 percent this week, while the holding index rose by 0.58 percent. In contrast, the industrial index lost 2.76 percent of its value.

TOP GAINERS AND LOSERS OF THE WEEK

The top-gaining stock in the BIST 100 index for the week was Halk Bankası (HALKB) with an increase of 20.91 percent. Oba Makarna (OBAMS) ranked second with a 17.55 percent increase, while Katılım Evim (KTLEV) took third place with a 13.01 percent increase.

On the other hand, among the stocks that lost the most value during the week, Batı Çimento (BTCIM) ranked first with a 16.26 percent decline. It was followed by Grainturk Holding (GRTHO) with a 13.08 percent drop and Türk Altın İşletmeleri (TRALT) with a 12.65 percent decline.

MOST VALUABLE AND MOST ACTIVELY TRADED COMPANIES

Among the companies with the highest market capitalization on Borsa Istanbul, ASELSAN (ASELS) ranked first with 836 billion 304 million TL. It was followed by Garanti BBVA (GARAN) with 583 billion 380 million TL and Enka İnşaat (ENKAI) with 476 billion 400 million TL in market capitalization.

Last week, the total trading volume in the BIST 100 index exceeded 619 billion 328 million TL. Türk Hava Yolları (THYAO) was the most actively traded stock with 48 billion 150 million TL. It was followed by İş Bankası (ISCTR) with a trading volume of 36 billion 592 million TL and Akbank (AKBNK) with 35 billion 576 million TL.
