Toyota increases production
Toyota Motor reported that its worldwide production in September increased by 1.5% compared to the same period last year, reaching 900,919 vehicles.

The Japanese automaker's domestic production, which accounted for slightly more than a third of the vehicles produced during the month, rose by 12.8% compared to the previous year, offsetting a 3.6% decline in overseas production.
The world's largest automaker increased its global sales by 11.6% in September to 921,308 vehicles. Both its sales and production reached record levels for this month.
Toyota sold more than 7.5 million vehicles in the first nine months of the year.
Domestic sales increased by 20.5% in September, while sales in the United States rose by 14% and sales in Europe increased by 18.1%.
In China, the world's largest automotive market, Toyota reported a slight increase in year-on-year sales, although it announced a decline of approximately 7% in production.
