Trade Minister Bolat attends World Turkish Business Council meeting in Slovakia

Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat participated in the World Turkish Business Council (DTİK) meeting held in Slovakia.

Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, in a post on X, stated that they had the opportunity to reiterate Turkey's strong position in global trade and its export targets at the DTİK meeting.

EMPHASIS ON COOPERATION

Stating that they reiterated the international successes of the Turkish business world and that Turkey is an attractive destination for investors at the event, Bolat noted the following:

"We discussed the importance of cooperation and mutual investment opportunities to deepen our economic and commercial relations with Slovakia. The formation of a significant Turkish business network abroad through the work carried out under the umbrella of DTİK contributes to the creation of a Turkish diaspora, and we continue to implement the roadmap we have determined together with our business people and entrepreneurs with the support we provide as the Ministry of Trade. Within the scope of our strategies, we will achieve our goal of more exports, a stronger economy, and a stronger Turkey with firm steps, with the support of our business people, our entrepreneurs, and ourselves, by increasing our international competitiveness and investment flow."

Bolat noted that he met with the DTİK Board of Directors after the meeting to hold consultations regarding their work in Slovakia, and wished the DTİK members, who have a direct impact on Turkey's foreign trade, success in their future endeavors.

Minister Bolat also reported that they exchanged views on the future of economic and commercial relations and areas for development during the inter-delegation meetings they held in Slovakia.
