It was reported that Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek met with US Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo.

The US Department of the Treasury stated that Şimşek met with Adeyemo yesterday.
It was noted that Şimşek and Adeyemo exchanged views on the global economic outlook as well as the US and Turkish economies.
During the meeting, it was reported that they discussed how to strengthen bilateral relations in deepening trade and investment, combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism, and the implementation of sanctions.
