In the first auction, a 3-year (1092-day) CPI-indexed government bond with semi-annual coupon payments was issued. The real simple interest rate in the auction was 5.25 percent, and the real compound interest rate was 5.31 percent.

In the auction where nominal bids reached 9 billion 835 million lira, nominal sales amounted to 1 billion 313 million lira, and net sales were 1 billion 232.1 million lira.

In the auction where the entire 7 billion lira bid from the public sector was met, 5 billion 386 million lira in bids were received from market makers, and 3 billion lira was sold to this segment.

In the second auction, a 10-year (3570-day) fixed-coupon government bond with semi-annual coupon payments was reissued. The simple interest rate in the auction was 28.69 percent, and the compound interest rate was 30.74 percent.

In the auction where nominal bids reached 23 billion 860 million lira, nominal sales amounted to 6 billion 250 million lira, and net sales were 6 billion 369.7 million lira.

In the auction where no bids were received from the public sector, 3 billion 541 million lira in bids were received from market makers, and 1 billion lira was sold to this segment.

Thus, the Treasury borrowed 18 billion 601.8 million lira across the two auctions.
