The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed a total of 31 billion lira through the first issuance of a 5-year CPI-indexed government bond with a 1.24 percent real coupon payment every 6 months, and the re-issuance of a 9-year government bond with a 13.10 percent fixed coupon payment every 6 months.
In the auction for the 5-year CPI-indexed bond, the bid amount was 15.6 billion lira, while net sales reached 5.89 billion lira. The real compound yield was 3.24 percent.
For the 9-year fixed-income bond auction, bids totaling 62.8 billion lira were received, and net sales of 25.1 billion lira were realized. The compound yield was recorded at 28.77 percent.

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed a total of 24 billion lira from market makers and the public prior to the first issuance of the 5-year CPI-indexed government bond with a 1.24 percent real coupon payment every 6 months, and the re-issuance of the 9-year government bond with a 13.10 percent fixed coupon payment every 6 months.
Before the auction of the 5-year CPI-indexed bond, 4 billion lira in sales were realized against 8.13 billion lira in bids from market makers.
In this bond, 5 billion lira was sold to the public. Before the auction of the 9-year fixed-coupon bond, 15 billion lira in sales were realized against 25.5 billion lira in bids from market makers.
