Treasury cash balance records a deficit

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has announced the cash realizations for April. Last month, the Treasury's cash revenues were 625 billion 866 million liras, and cash expenditures were 862 billion 845 million liras.

NON-INTEREST BALANCE RECORDS A DEFICIT

Non-interest expenditures amounted to 757 billion 654 million liras, while interest payments totaled 105 billion 191 million liras. The non-interest balance recorded a deficit of 131 billion 788 million liras.

In April, a deficit of 236 billion 979 million liras occurred in the cash balance.

While the increase resulting from exchange rate differences amounted to 5 billion 412 million liras, a decrease of 134 billion 126 million liras was observed in the net cash/bank account.
