Treasury to hold three auctions next week
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance is preparing to hold three separate government bond auctions and conduct a direct sale of one lease certificate next week.

In accordance with the domestic debt issuance calendar published on the ministry's official website, the issuance process for a 12-month (364-day) zero-coupon government bond will begin on Monday, January 5. On the same date, the first sale of a new floating-rate government bond with semi-annual coupon payments over a 4-year (1456-day) term will also take place.
On the following day, Tuesday, January 6, the Treasury will offer a two-year (728-day) lease certificate with semi-annual rent payments for direct sale to investors. On the same day, a re-issuance of a 5-year (1729-day) government bond with fixed semi-annual coupon payments will also be presented to investors.
With these steps, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance aims to increase activity in the market for fixed-coupon bonds, floating-rate bonds, and lease certificates next week.
