Treasury to undertake 541.1 billion lira in domestic borrowing
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance will undertake 541.1 billion lira in domestic borrowing against 575.5 billion lira in domestic debt service for the February-April period.

The Ministry has announced its domestic borrowing strategy for the next 3-month period. Accordingly, the Treasury will carry out 541.1 billion lira in domestic borrowing against 575.5 billion lira in domestic debt service during the period in question.
In the Ministry's domestic borrowing strategy for the next 3-month period, it is projected that 250.2 billion lira will be borrowed in February against 200 billion in domestic debt service, 131.8 billion lira in March against 95.9 billion in domestic debt service, and 159.1 billion lira in April against 279.6 billion in domestic debt service.
It is expected that in February, 83.5 billion lira of the domestic borrowing will come from the market, 158.7 billion lira from direct sales, and 8 billion lira from sales to the public; in March, 126.4 billion lira from the market, 3.5 billion lira from direct sales, and 2 billion lira from sales to the public; and in April, 151.5 billion lira from the market, 4.7 billion lira from direct sales, and 3 billion lira from sales to the public.
During this period, 24 bond auctions will be held and 4 direct sales of lease certificates will be conducted. Payments of 226.4 billion lira in February, 205.7 billion lira in March, and 297.9 billion lira in April will be made. Of these payments, 154.1 billion lira will consist of external debt service.
