Trump announces AI and cryptocurrency lead
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has announced that entrepreneur and investor David Sacks will serve as the "White House AI and Crypto Czar."

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that Sacks will guide the administration's policies in the fields of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency, which he described as critical to the future of U.S. competitiveness.
Emphasizing that Sacks will focus on making America the clear global leader in both sectors, Trump noted that he will protect free speech on the internet and steer the country away from "Big Tech" censorship.
Donald Trump stated, "Sacks will work on a legal framework so that the crypto industry can have the clarity it needs and can thrive in the U.S."
Announcing that Sacks will also lead the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, Trump pointed out that Sacks is a "highly successful entrepreneur and investor who has founded and invested in some of the most iconic companies" in Silicon Valley for 25 years.
