According to data from the UBS Global Wealth Report, Turkey has placed second in the world for the fastest growth in the number of dollar millionaires, driven by rising financial assets and real estate prices.

Turkey has ranked among the fastest-rising countries in the world in terms of the increase in the number of dollar millionaires. According to data compiled from the UBS Global Wealth Report and published by Euronews, the number of dollar millionaires in Turkey increased by 6.4 percent in 2025, rising to second place globally in this category.

5 THOUSAND 650 PEOPLE IN ONE YEAR

According to the report, 5 thousand 650 more people became dollar millionaires in Turkey within a year, with the country trailing only Lithuania in the rate of increase. Turkey surpassed Latvia, Hungary, Ireland, Russia, and Israel to rank among the economies that stood out in wealth growth.

In terms of the number of new dollar millionaires, the US ranked first by a wide margin. The country saw 441 thousand 78 new dollar millionaires emerge in one year.

The US was followed by the United Kingdom with 43 thousand 139 new dollar millionaires, France with 34 thousand 604, Spain with 32 thousand 707, and Japan with 31 thousand 428.
