According to the Household Labor Force Survey results, the number of unemployed persons aged 15 and over increased by 85 thousand people in January 2024 compared to the previous month, reaching 3 million 214 thousand people. The unemployment rate stood at 9.1 percent, marking an increase of 0.2 percentage points. The unemployment rate was estimated at 7.7 percent for men and 11.7 percent for women.
