Update to the contactless payment limit without a PIN
According to the decision by the BRSA, the limit for contactless card transactions without a PIN will change as of July 1, 2024.

The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) has sent a letter to banks regarding the update of the limit for contactless transactions, which allow payments to be made via cards and mobile devices without any physical contact.
According to the letter, the limit for contactless payments without a PIN, which was increased to 750 liras on July 1, 2022, has been updated after 2 years.
The limit for transactions without a PIN will be 1,500 liras starting from July 1, 2024.
