Valid in 3 cities: 325 euro support from SGK for mothers and caregivers
Through a European Union (EU)-supported project conducted by the Social Security Institution (SGK), 3,500 insured mothers with children aged 0-36 months in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir will receive 325 euros of support per month for 12 months.

The Social Security Institution (SGK) has completed its preparations to implement the second phase of the "Project for Supporting Registered Women's Employment Through the Promotion of Educated Child Caregivers."
With the project, which is financially supported by the EU, the aim is to support mothers who have children between the ages of 0-36 months and are at risk of leaving the workforce due to childcare responsibilities, helping them remain in or join registered employment.
325 EURO SUPPORT PER MONTH
Under the project, which will be implemented in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir for 12 months, working mothers will be provided with 325 euros of support per month.
A total of 7,000 women, including 3,500 mothers and 3,500 caregivers, will benefit from the project, which also aims to promote educated and insured child caregiving.
The conditions for benefiting from the project and the application link will be announced by the SGK in the coming days.
STATEMENT FROM VEDAT IŞIKHAN REGARDING THE PROJECT
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated in his remarks regarding the project that they attach great importance to registered employment and are continuing their fight against informal employment with determination.
Emphasizing that they are carrying out other projects involving support and incentives in addition to the İş-Pozitif (Job-Positive) Project, which was implemented to ensure women remain in and join the workforce, Işıkhan noted the following:
"The Project for Supporting Registered Women's Employment Through the Promotion of Educated Child Caregivers, for which the SGK is the implementing agency, is one of these. With the project, which has a total budget of 15.3 million euros, 325 euros of support will be provided to working mothers in our three major cities for 12 months. Thanks to the project, mothers will not be disconnected from employment due to the financial support they receive, and the employment of our educated and certified child caregivers will be encouraged. With this project, we will be supporting mothers, children, and caregivers alike."
