Following its support for branches such as marathon, football, and esports, Vodafone has begun supporting volleyball, becoming the Title Sponsor of the Sultans League and the Main Sponsor of the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Teams. Accordingly, the Vodafone logo will appear on the chests of the jerseys worn by the A Women's National Volleyball Team and all age-group teams (U21, U19, U17). The new name of the Sultans League, the top-tier women's league affiliated with the Turkish Volleyball Federation, will be the Vodafone Sultans League. Vodafone has also changed the Sultans League logo. The support from Vodafone, which has signed the largest and most comprehensive sponsorship agreement for women's volleyball in the world and for women's sports in Turkey in partnership with the Turkish Volleyball Federation, will last for 3 years.

Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ stated, “We are number one in the world, we are European champions, and we are going to the Olympics. Sponsorship is very important for these successes to be sustainable. We have been in talks with Vodafone for a year. We managed a wonderful process. We are not disclosing the figures, but it is the largest support given to women's volleyball in the world and to women's sports in Turkey. They actually said, 'We have an unlimited budget, our door is always open to you,'” he assessed.

Vodafone Turkey CEO Engin Aksoy spoke as follows: “We attach great importance to sports, aware of the role sports play in economic and social development as a unifier of societies. We have had various sponsorships in different sports branches to date. Now, we are carrying this experience into the field of volleyball. According to research conducted by GfK in the field of sports sponsorships, women's volleyball is the second most followed branch among all sports branches with 58%. According to consumers, women's volleyball ranks at the top of the sports branches in which Turkey is most successful, with 72%. As a country, we are extremely successful in volleyball. We need to make these successes known to wider audiences and do so with a sustainable approach. As a company that has supported the empowerment of women with its work since 2007, we stand by Turkish women's volleyball today as well.

We are proud to stand by the women of the Republic in the 100th year of our Republic. We want to be one of the brands that continuously supports volleyball and make women's volleyball, which is closely followed by sports fans, known by much wider audiences. With this understanding, we have become the Title Sponsor of the Sultans League and the Main Sponsor of the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Teams. Our primary goal is to provide the best support to our A Women's National Volleyball Team, which ranks first in the world rankings with its achievements, and to the Vodafone Sultans League, where the most successful volleyball players in the world compete. With this agreement we have signed with the Turkish Volleyball Federation, we are providing the largest support ever given to women's volleyball in the world. This agreement is also the highest and most comprehensive sponsorship agreement provided for women's sports in Turkey. We believe that our cooperation will provide significant gains for both parties and will be very productive.”
