Volatility continues in the gold market: Gram price declined on July 7, 2026
The price of gram gold, closely followed by gold investors, recorded a slight decline on Tuesday, July 7, as market activity continues.

Volatility continues to impact the gold markets. On the morning of Tuesday, July 7, 2026, gram gold is trading at 6,222.12 TL for buying and 6,223.06 TL for selling in the free market. At the same time, the buying price for quarter gold was recorded at 9,955.38 TL, while the selling price was 10,174.71 TL. Republic gold is changing hands at 40,578.89 TL.
The ounce of gold is trading at 4,130 dollars in international markets as of 10:00 AM, marking a 0.85 percent decline on a daily basis. In our country, gram gold has shown a value loss of 0.74 percent compared to yesterday.
While this pullback in prices observed with the market opening is considered a reflection of the fluctuations in global gold markets, experts are drawing attention to the long-term performance of gold.
LATEST STATUS IN GOLD PRICES
Compared to July, gram gold has gained 170.34 TL in value, an increase of 2.81 percent. Since the beginning of the year, gram gold has risen from 5,985.85 TL to 6,223.06 TL, providing a premium of approximately 3.96 percent to its investors.
Gram gold, which was at the 4,289.08 TL level in the same period last year, draws attention with a 45.09 percent increase over a one-year period. However, ounce gold has followed a negative trend compared to the beginning of the year, falling from 4,332.29 dollars to 4,129.76 dollars, experiencing a 4.67 percent decline. Over the last year, however, ounce gold has increased by 23.78 percent, rising from 3,336.50 dollars to its current level.
Gold investment instruments continue to be closely monitored due to both fluctuating global markets and local economic dynamics.
