Despite the decline in Brent crude oil prices in international markets, fuel prices in Turkey continue to rise. Following the 1 lira 47 kuruş hike in gasoline on May 14, a new price increase has been applied to the diesel group.
1 LIRA 83 KURUS HIKE ON DIESEL
With the regulation that came into effect on the night of May 15, the price of diesel increased by 1 lira 83 kuruş per liter. Despite the drop in Brent crude, the hike was reflected in pump prices, and drivers once again encountered increased figures at fuel stations.
BRENT CRUDE IS DOWN, NO DISCOUNT
According to the latest data, the barrel price of Brent crude has fallen to the 60-dollar level. This decline was expected to be reflected in fuel prices as a discount, but no reduction has occurred at the pump yet.
