The first installment payment period for the 2024 motor vehicle tax, which began on January 1, will end on January 31.
MTV amounts were calculated based on the revaluation rate of 58.46 percent. Accordingly, in 2024, the lowest MTV amount will be 347 liras, and the highest will be 133 thousand 572 liras. The first installment payments, which correspond to half of these amounts, will be made by January 31.
HOW TO PAY MTV?
If the MTV is not paid on time, vehicle owners will be charged a monthly late payment interest of 3.5 percent.
The tax can be paid via the Digital Tax Office (dijital.gib.gov.tr) or its mobile application (Google Play, App Store, Huawei AppGallery) between 02:00 and 23:45 using debit/credit cards from contracted banks, bank account transfers, cards issued by banks operating in foreign countries, as well as through banks authorized to collect taxes, tax office counters, and PTT branches.
