WHEN WILL THE HOLIDAY BONUS BE DEPOSITED?

The process regarding the retiree holiday bonus payments is nearing its end. The legislative proposal, which has completed its deliberations in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), is expected to enter into force after being published in the Official Gazette. Following the legal regulation, the Social Security Institution (SGK) will announce the payment schedule, and retiree holiday bonuses will begin to be deposited into accounts based on allocation numbers. The holiday bonus payments to be made to retirees are planned to conclude on Friday, March 28.

BONUS PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE ACCORDING TO ALLOCATION NUMBERS

Retiree holiday bonus payments will begin this year with retirees under the 4(a) SSK scope. As in previous years, payments will be made according to the last digit of the allocation number. In the previous year, bonus payments started with retirees whose allocation numbers ended in 17 and 18, and then the payment process was completed sequentially according to 19, 20, 21, and other numbers. A similar payment schedule is expected to be followed this year, and the transactions are expected to be completed accordingly.

HOW MUCH HAS THE 2025 RETIREE BONUS BECOME? 

Vice President Fuat Oktay stated in his announcement that this year's holiday bonuses have been increased to 4,000 TL.
