The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 9,173.27 and a high of 9,416.70 points, completed the week at 9,374.20 points, gaining 1.34 percent compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 1.91 percent this week to 2,027 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold rose by 1.92 percent to 13,623 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 3,221 liras last weekend, rose to 3,335 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 0.85 percent to reach 31.0920 liras, and the euro rose by 1.74 percent to 33.7050 liras.
Investment funds gained 1.27 percent and individual pension funds gained 1.29 percent this week. When viewed by category, the highest-earning investment funds were "Precious Metals" funds with 3.97 percent.
