The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul closed the week with a 2.61 percent gain at 7,706.41 points.

During the week, the index saw a low of 7,384.45 points and a high of 8,084.44 points.

In the same period, the Borsa Istanbul Services Index rose by 2.78 percent to 7,104.50 points, the Technology Index increased by 5.54 percent to 9,454.79 points, the Financial Index rose by 2.73 percent to 7,993.28 points, and the Industrial Index gained 3.01 percent to reach 12,495.26 points.

MIA TEKNOLOJI IS THE TOP PERFORMING STOCK

Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul, Mia Teknoloji was the top gainer this week with a 26.29 percent increase. Mia Teknoloji was followed by Çimsa Çimento with 19.96 percent and Yeo Teknoloji Enerji with 19.95 percent.

Among the same stocks, the biggest losers were İpek Doğal Enerji with 16.66 percent, Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik with 10.54 percent, and Ege Endüstri with 10.00 percent.

The most valuable companies traded on Borsa Istanbul were Koç Holding with 351 billion 982 million liras, Turkish Airlines with 299 billion 736 million liras, and Ford Otomotiv with 297 billion 922 million liras.

GOLD AND THE DOLLAR ROSE

The gram selling price of 24-karat gold bullion rose by 0.34 percent this week to 1,797 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold increased by 0.32 percent to 12,073 liras.

The selling price of the dollar gained 0.65 percent to reach 28.1890 liras, and the selling price of the euro rose by 0.73 percent to 29.8530 liras.

The selling price of the British pound, which was 34.0930 liras last week, increased by 0.58 percent this week to 34.2910 liras.

The Swiss franc, on the other hand, found buyers at 31.3640 liras, a loss of 0.55 percent compared to the previous week.
