The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 9,274.55 and a high of 9,838.01 points, completed the week at 9,685.49 points, losing 0.88 percent in value compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 2.29 percent this week to 2,812 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold rose by 0.89 percent to 18,507 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 4,605 liras last weekend, rose to 4,650 liras.
This week, the US dollar lost 0.16 percent in value to 33.9250 liras, while the euro fell by 0.19 percent to 37.6260 liras.
Investment funds lost 0.89 percent and pension funds lost 0.97 percent in value this week.
When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Money Market" funds with a gain of 0.98 percent.
