The best-performing investment instruments of the week have been determined. While gold and the dollar pleased investors, Borsa Istanbul saw a decline in value.

This week, stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul lost an average of 3.84 percent in value on a weekly basis, while the gram price of gold increased by 2.57 percent, the Euro/TL rate by 1.15 percent, and the dollar/TL rate by 0.69 percent.
The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul closed the week at 10,473.47 points, down 3.84 percent. During the week, the index saw a low of 10,415.62 and a high of 10,880.04 points.
In the same period, the Borsa Istanbul Financial Index lost 4.42 percent to 11,750.16 points, the Services Index decreased by 2.68 percent to 10,088.90 points, the Industrial Index lost 3.25 percent to 14,291.91 points, and the Technology Index lost 2.80 percent to 14,378.60 points.
TOP PERFORMING STOCK ON THE STOCK MARKET
Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul, the one that gained the most this week was Kontrolmatik Teknoloji with 10.80 percent.
Kontrolmatik Teknoloji was followed by Limak Doğu Anadolu Çimento with 9.14 percent and Tukaş Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret with 8.35 percent.
Among the aforementioned stocks, those that lost the most value were Arçelik with 15.78 percent, Agrotech Teknoloji with 12.01 percent, and Emlak Konut Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı with 10.73 percent.
The most valuable companies traded on Borsa Istanbul were Koç Holding with 529 billion 495 million 513 thousand liras, Garanti BBVA with 521 billion 640 million liras, and Türk Hava Yolları with 402 billion 270 million liras.
GOLD AND DOLLAR INCREASED
The gram price of 24-karat gold bullion increased by 2.57 percent last week to 2,595 liras, and the price of Republic gold gained 3.13 percent to rise to 17,120 liras.
The selling price of the dollar increased by 0.69 percent to 33.1940 liras, and the selling price of the euro rose by 1.15 percent to 36.2200 liras.
The selling price of the British pound, which was 42.4040 liras last week, rose by 0.47 percent this week to 42.6050 liras.
The Swiss franc found buyers at 38.5660 liras, an increase of 3.27 percent compared to the previous week.
