The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar fell by 1.92 percent this week to 1,786 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold decreased by 1.94 percent to 12,000 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 2,993 liras at the end of last week, dropped to 2,940 liras.
This week, the US dollar rose by 0.55 percent to 28.5660 liras, and the euro increased by 0.30 percent to 30.5270 liras.
Investment funds gained 1.38 percent and individual pension funds gained 1.20 percent this week. When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Stock" funds with a gain of 2.42 percent.
