The best-performing investment vehicles of the week have been determined.
The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 8,795.90 and a high of 9,368.51 points, completed the week at 8,828.70 points, losing 3.57 percent in value compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 0.13 percent this week to 2,238 liras, while the selling price of republic gold rose by 0.12 percent to 15,043 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 3,678 liras last weekend, rose to 3,683 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 0.80 percent in value to reach 32.2190 liras, and the euro rose by 0.30 percent to 35.1450 liras.
Investment funds gained 0.43 percent and individual pension funds gained 0.04 percent this week. When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Precious Metals" funds with 1.22 percent.
