Withholding tax rates decision published in the Official Gazette
By presidential decree, withholding tax rates on deposits and currency-protected accounts have been kept constant, and the duration of the application has been extended until July 31.

The presidential decree regarding withholding tax rates applied to deposits and investment funds has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the decision, no changes were made to the current rates. The application period has been extended until July 31, 2025.
As will be recalled, with the regulation published on February 1, 2025, the withholding tax rate was set at 15 percent for deposits with a maturity of up to 6 months, 12 percent for those with a maturity of up to 1 year, and 10 percent for maturities exceeding 1 year.
