113 thousand candidates applied! YÖKDİL/1 to take place on Sunday: When will the exam results be announced?

The Higher Education Institutions Foreign Language Examination (2025-YÖKDİL/1) will be held on Sunday, February 16. 113 thousand 667 candidates have applied for the exam.

113 thousand 667 candidates have applied for the YÖKDİL exam, which will be held on Sunday. The exam will take place in Nicosia, Bishkek, and 81 provinces across Turkey, utilizing 366 buildings and 4 thousand 365 halls. 

CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO THE HALL AFTER 10.00

The exam, which will be administered in 89 exam centers, will start at 10.15. Candidates will not be admitted to the exam buildings after 10.00. 

In the exam, which will last 180 minutes, disabled candidates who have been granted additional time will be able to use their 30 minutes of extra time.

Making a statement regarding the exam, the President of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy, said, "YÖKDİL/1 will be held in the fields of Science, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences for English, and only in the field of Social Sciences for Arabic. 

27 thousand 111 candidates will participate in English Science, 44 thousand 648 in English Health Sciences, 38 thousand 730 in English Social Sciences, and 3 thousand 178 in Arabic Social Sciences. 

Candidates will be asked 80 multiple-choice questions. While veterans, as well as the spouses and children of martyrs and veterans who applied for the exam, were exempted from the exam fee, 821 candidates benefited from this right. 321 disabled candidates will participate in the exam. 

16 thousand 452 people, including security personnel, will be on duty on the day of the exam. I wish success to all candidates who will take the exam," he stated.

WHEN WILL THE RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED?

Provincial and district population directorates will remain open until 10.00 on the day of the exam for candidates who have lost their identity cards, do not have a national identity card, or whose identity cards do not contain an identification number and photograph. 

The exam results will be announced on March 18.
