Academic Emrah Gülsunar detained again

Academic Dr. Emrah Gülsunar announced that he had been detained in a statement made via social media. In his post, Gülsunar used the phrase "I am being detained." As of now, no statement has been made regarding the reasons for the detention procedure.

HE WAS ALSO DETAINED LAST MONTH

The academic was also detained last September. Following investigations into social media accounts initiated by the General Directorate of Security (EGM) in various cities across Turkey, Gülsunar had been detained on charges of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility" and "inciting to commit a crime," and was subsequently released under judicial control conditions.
