A striking allegation has emerged regarding the High School Transition System (LGS) exam held on June 15. According to an exclusive report by Can Uğur from Cumhuriyet Newspaper, it was claimed that exam questions and answer keys were circulated in certain WhatsApp groups while the exam was still in progress.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SHARED BEFORE THE EXAM ENDED
According to the allegation, a file named "2025-LGS-Sözel.pdf", stated to be the verbal section booklet of the LGS, was shared at 12:00 PM in a WhatsApp group containing administrators from a private educational institution. This sharing occurred at a time when the exam had not yet concluded. Following the verbal booklet, messages indicating that the numerical booklet would also be shared in the group drew attention. However, the official end time for the second session of the exam was announced as 12:50 PM.
It was stated that not only the booklets but also the answer keys for the questions were circulated within the same group. While some group members reacted to the situation, expressing that the shares were inappropriate, it was reported that some users subsequently deleted their messages.
NO STATEMENT FROM THE MEB
While the Ministry of National Education (MEB) officially released the exam questions to the public at 2:00 PM, the possibility that the questions and answers were leaked 1 to 1.5 hours before the exam ended has reopened the debate regarding the security of the exam and the principle of equality.
As no statement has yet been made by the Ministry of National Education regarding the matter, questions remain as to how the aforementioned shares were obtained, who distributed them, and who received this content.
