Following the conclusion of the 2026 YKS preference process on August 10, university candidates are now focused on placement results and the enrollment calendar. For candidates who have earned the right to be placed in a higher education program, the registration process will begin on August 24, 2026.
Registration will last for a total of 5 days, between August 24 and August 28, 2026. Candidates who wish to register electronically will be able to complete their e-registration procedures between August 24 and August 26, 2026.
WHICH DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION?
During university enrollment, candidates may be asked for the original or a certified copy of their high school diploma, or a recently issued graduation certificate. Candidates who were placed in a program with additional points but whose field information is not included on their diploma or graduation certificate will also need to submit an official document showing the school and field from which they graduated.
If requested by the universities, candidates may also be asked to provide 12 photographs measuring 4.5 x 6 centimeters, as well as proof of payment for the contribution fee or tuition. Institutions may request different documents, provided they announce them prior to registration.
The procedures for candidates determined to be enrolled in a full-time program at the same level at another higher education institution via YÖKSİS may be carried out by confirming the necessary information from the relevant institution.
The military status of candidates placed in a program within the scope of YKS will be checked by universities through the relevant public system. Candidates must apply to military recruitment offices for military service procedures, and to university rectorates or the General Directorate of Credit and Dormitories for matters concerning loans and scholarships.
Placement results, including candidates' disability information, will be transmitted electronically by ÖSYM to the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
