Court approves camera implementation in special education classrooms

As a result of the lawsuit filed by the Acceptance, Equality, Inclusion, Employment (KEDİ) Autism Association and the İnegöl Autism Solidarity Association, the legal obstacle to security cameras in classrooms where students with special needs are educated has been removed. Thus, the Court has set an important precedent in the legal process initiated to create a safer educational environment.

GREEN LIGHT FROM THE JUDICIARY FOR CAMERA IMPLEMENTATION

With the decision taken by the 8th Chamber of the Council of State, the administrative regulation that prevented the installation of camera systems in special education classrooms will no longer be valid. Accordingly, it is expected that the Ministry of National Education will determine new rules regarding the implementation so that camera systems can be put into use in these classrooms in the new period.
