The date for the 122nd term Private Security Guard (ÖGG) exam has been clarified with the calendar published by the General Directorate of Security's Private Security Supervision Department. Accordingly, the 122nd Basic Training and 98th Refresher Training Exam will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Candidates taking the exam must have completed their private security basic or refresher training by July 24, 2026, at the latest.

The time allotted for candidates participating in the exam will vary depending on the exam type.

The response time granted to candidates will vary according to the exam type. Candidates participating in the armed ÖGG exam will be given 150 minutes, while those taking the unarmed ÖGG exam will be given 120 minutes. For the weapon difference exam, the duration for the 25-question section will be 30 minutes.

According to the calendar, exam results are expected to be announced on September 18, 2026. Practical shooting exams, which armed private security candidates will attend, will be held between August 30 and September 13, 2026. Scores obtained in the shooting exam will be entered into the ÖGNET system following the evaluation process.
