Decision on pay raise for contract teachers enters into force: How much is the new additional course fee?

A 25 percent increase has been implemented for the additional course fees of contract teachers.

The Presidential decision regarding the "Amendment to the Decision on Course and Additional Course Hours of Ministry of National Education Administrators and Teachers" has been published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, with the regulation, a 25 percent increase was provided in the additional course fees of contract teachers and master instructors employed in exchange for additional course fees in educational institutions affiliated with the MEB.

NEW ADDITIONAL COURSE FEE IS 76.25 TL

With the 25 percent increase, the additional course fee for contract teachers has risen from 61 TL to 76.25 TL.

Furthermore, the additional course fee received by administrators and teachers temporarily assigned to the Ministry's General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies and the General Directorate of Information Technology in return for these duties has also been increased by 9 hours per week.
