Erdoğan signs: 14 faculties and institutes closed at 4 universities! Emine Erdoğan's name on new institute
With a decision signed by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a total of 14 faculties and institutes were closed at 4 universities. With the regulation published in the Official Gazette, the "Emine Erdoğan Institute of Seed Science and Technology" was established within Ege University.

With the latest decision published in the Official Gazette, while some academic units at universities were closed, it was also decided to open new institutes and faculties.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan According to the regulation that entered into force with the signature of, a total of 14 faculties and institutes at 4 universities were terminated. In contrast, new academic units were brought to life at 10 different universities.
In line with this decision, a new institute was established under the roof of Ege University under the name "Emine Erdoğan Institute of Seed Science and Technology".
In addition, the names of 3 faculties at 2 universities were changed.
