Final stage for 15,000 teachers: Date has been set

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has announced that the recruitment process for 15,000 contract teachers is nearing its end. Details regarding the candidates' preference and appointment procedures were announced with the "2025 Contract Teaching Preference and Appointment Guide" published today.

In the statement made by the Ministry, it was reported that the preference process will be carried out electronically between November 17-21, 2025. The appointment procedures will take place on November 24, 2025.

APPLICATION AND EXAMINATION PROCESS COMPLETED

The initial announcement regarding the recruitment of 15,000 contract teachers and the distribution of quotas by branch were presented to the public on April 18, 2025. Candidate applications were received between April 21 and May 5, 2025, and subsequently, oral exams were conducted between June 23 and August 20, 2025.

Candidates' success scores were calculated based on 50 percent of their KPSS score and 50 percent of their oral exam score, in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulation on the Employment of Contract Teachers by the Ministry of National Education."

The oral exam results were announced on August 29, 2025.

OBJECTIONS RECEIVED ELECTRONICALLY

Objections regarding the results were accepted electronically via the address "eitiraz.meb.gov.tr" between September 1-5, 2025. Objection applications were evaluated by the relevant oral exam commissions and finalized on October 3, 2025.

Following all these processes, with the guide published, the preference and appointment calendar for teacher candidates who were successful in the oral exam has also become clear.

Accordingly, candidates will submit their educational institution preference applications electronically between November 17-21, 2025.

Following the completion of the preference process, the appointment procedures will be carried out on November 24, 2025.
