In the Aladağ district of Adana, education in schools has been suspended for one day due to snowfall.
In a statement from the Aladağ District Governorate, it was stated, "It has been decided to suspend education in our schools for one day on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, due to the ongoing snowfall and adverse weather conditions throughout our district, and the potential transportation problems caused by icing on the roads."
SAMSUN
In Samsun, bused education has been suspended for 1 day in some districts due to snowfall and icing.
In a statement from the Provincial Directorate of National Education, it was reported that due to heavy snowfall, adverse weather conditions, and potential disruptions in transportation, bused education has been suspended on Tuesday, February 11, in the districts of 19 Mayıs, Alaçam, Asarcık, Çarşamba, Havza, Kavak, Ladik, Terme, and Salıpazarı.
Education has been suspended for 1 day on Tuesday, February 11, at the Sarayköy Primary and Secondary School and the Özeren Primary and Secondary School in the Atakum district.
ÇORUM
In the Ortaköy district of Çorum, bused education has been suspended for tomorrow due to adverse weather conditions.
In a statement from the Ortaköy District Directorate of National Education, it was reported that bused education has been suspended for tomorrow.
The statement noted that students receiving bused education will continue their education starting from Wednesday, February 12.
ORDU: PARTIAL CLOSURE DECISION IN AKKUŞ
The Ordu Governorate announced that education has been suspended in some schools in the Akkuş district. According to the governorate's statement, all public and private educational institutions, excluding the Borsa Istanbul Boarding Regional Secondary School and the Kargı Ferhat Akbulat Primary and Secondary School, were closed on Tuesday, February 11. Additionally, disabled and pregnant public employees were granted administrative leave.
ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS
