Snow disrupts education in Bingöl! Which districts have closed schools?

Due to the heavy snowfall affecting Bingöl, bussed education has been suspended for 1 day in 3 villages, 1 town, and 1 central village.

In a statement issued by the Bingöl Governor's Office, it was stated: “Due to the ongoing heavy snowfall across our province and as a precautionary measure against icing and potential transportation hazards, education for students who access schools via bussed education in our Adaklı, Kiğı, and Yayladere districts, as well as the town of Sancak and the central village of Sudüğünü, has been suspended for 1 day on Monday, December 23, 2024.

Public employees with disabilities and pregnant staff working in the aforementioned districts, the town of Sancak, and the central village of Sudüğünü will also be considered on administrative leave on the same day,” the statement read.
