WHEN ARE CONTRACT TEACHER PREFERENCES?
The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has published the preference and appointment guide for the recruitment of 20 thousand contract teachers.
The guide includes information regarding the preference and appointment procedures for candidates who participated in and were successful in the oral exam within the scope of the "Announcement for Application to Contract Teaching" published on May 17 to serve as contract teachers in official educational institutions affiliated with the MEB.
In this context, contract teacher preferences will be made between November 14 and November 20, 2024.
HOW TO APPLY FOR CONTRACT TEACHER APPOINTMENT PREFERENCES?
Preference applications will begin on November 14 and end on November 20 at 16.00.
Candidates will carry out their institution preference procedures via e-Devlet; they will not need to go to any provincial or district national education directorate to have their preferences approved.
Candidates who scored 60 or above in the oral exam will be able to choose a maximum of 40 educational institutions electronically.
HOW MANY CONTRACT TEACHERS WILL BE APPOINTED?
With the 2024 teacher appointment calendar published by the Ministry of National Education (MEB), 20 thousand teachers will be appointed.
