Last day for YKS applications
Applications for the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), which will be held on June 8-9, will end today at 23:59.

The application process for the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) began on February 1.
Candidates can submit their applications through ÖSYM Application Centers, individually via ÖSYM's https://ais.osym.gov.tr website, or through the ÖSYM Candidate Transactions Mobile Application. Within the scope of YKS, the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) will be held on June 8, while the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) will be held in the morning session and the Foreign Language Test (YDT) in the afternoon session on June 9.
ÖSYM also reminded that applications for the exam will end on February 26 at 23:59.
MILITARY SCHOOLS
On the other hand, candidates who have applied for the National Defense University Military Student Candidate Determination Exam (MSÜ) are also required to apply for the YKS in order to be included in the placement procedures by the Ministry of National Defense.
HOW MUCH ARE THE EXAM FEES?
According to the application guide published by ÖSYM, the YKS exam fees have been set at 295 TL for each of the TYT, AYT, and YDT sessions. Payments can be made until Tuesday, February 27. In a statement made by ÖSYM, it was stated that “For applications made during the late application days between March 5-7, the exam fee will be paid with a 50 percent increase.”
WHEN WILL YKS RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED?
The results will be announced on July 17.
YÖKDİL HAS BEEN HELD
Meanwhile, the Higher Education Institutions Foreign Language Exam (YÖKDİL), organized by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), was held yesterday. The exam, for which 104 thousand 485 candidates applied, was administered in 89 exam centers. The results of the YÖKDİL, which was administered in both paper-based and electronic formats, will be announced on March 15. Exam results will be valid for 5 years from the date they are announced.
