MEB Scholarship Exam applications start today! Where and how to apply?

Research into the 2025 İOKBS application portal is accelerating. The countdown has begun for the Primary and Secondary Education Institutions Scholarship Exam (İOKBS) applications. The exam, organized for students in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 of middle schools, imam hatip middle schools, and special education middle schools, as well as preparatory, 9, 10, and 11th-grade students of secondary education institutions, will be held this year on Sunday, April 27. With the İOKBS application guide published by the Ministry of National Education (MEB), application dates and conditions have become clear. İOKBS SCHOLARSHIP EXAM APPLICATION DATES

The Primary and Secondary Education Institutions Scholarship Exam (İOKBS) Application and Implementation Guide has been published by the Ministry of National Education (MEB).

According to the guide, Scholarship Exam applications will begin on Monday, February 10, 2025, and will end on March 3, 2025.

Applications of students who meet the application requirements will be approved by school administrations through the system until March 4, 2025.

HOW AND WHERE TO APPLY FOR THE EXAM?

Application procedures can be carried out via the internet addresses http://www.meb.gov.tr or https://e-okul.meb.gov.tr.

If the student meets the application requirements, the parent can make the application to the school administration where their child is enrolled.

The student's parent will ensure the application is made by submitting the "EK-1 Declaration Showing the Financial Status of the Student's Family" and the necessary attachments to the school administration.

During the application, the information obtained electronically regarding the student (name, surname, mother's name, father's name, gender, place of birth, date of birth, special education needs or disability status, field/branch, grade) must be checked by the parent. If there is any error, it must be corrected before the application.

The application process will be carried out electronically by the school administration. The application document, approved by the school administration and signed by the parent, confirming that the application is complete, must be kept until the end of the exam.

Any changes made electronically after the application is approved will not affect the application information. Therefore, all information must be carefully reviewed by the parent and school administrators and verified for accuracy before the application is approved. Changes or requests made after approval will not be taken into consideration under any circumstances.

WHEN IS THE SCHOLARSHIP EXAM?

The İOKBS (Primary and Secondary Education Institutions Scholarship Exam) will be held this year on April 27 and will start at 10:00.

In the exam, 80 questions will be asked for all grade levels, and it is stated that each will have four options. The exam duration will be 100 minutes.

According to the guide, details such as the students' exam entrance location, hall, seat number, and the exam accommodation services they will receive will be published at www.meb.gov.tr at least seven days before the exam date.

Exam results will be announced on May 30, 2025, at www.meb.gov.tr.
