Ministry of National Education announces 2026 field and branch preference calendar: Procedures to be conducted via e-Okul
Dates have been announced for the 9th-grade field and 10th-grade branch preference and placement process in vocational and technical education; all procedures will be carried out through e-Okul.

The Ministry of National Education's General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education has published the 2026 field/branch transition preference and placement calendar. The calendar outlines the dates for 9th-grade field procedures and 10th-grade branch procedures in vocational and technical education institutions.
Accordingly, 9th-grade field quotas will be entered into the e-Okul system between August 24 and September 5. Quotas will be announced on September 7, and field promotion and guidance activities will be conducted between September 7 and 12.
Field preference applications and approval procedures will be accepted on September 14-15. The deadline for applications is set for 17:00 on September 15. The review of 9th-grade field preferences will take place on September 15; field placement results will be announced on September 17. For students who were not placed, placement into vacant quotas will be carried out on September 18.
Regarding 10th-grade branch procedures, branch quotas will be announced on September 7. Branch preferences will be accepted between September 7 and 11, and branch placement procedures will be completed on September 16. Final registration procedures for the maritime field will be conducted between September 16 and 30.
