New university departments announced: Artificial intelligence enters universities
The YKS exams, held on June 8-9 with over 3 million university candidates applying, have concluded. For the new academic year, 21 new undergraduate and 50 associate degree programs have been added to the ÖSYM guide.

3 million 120 thousand 870 candidates applied for the 2024-YKS held on June 8-9. There are 1 million 58 thousand 345 spots available in universities this year. Preferences will be submitted between July 25 and August 2. According to the report by Türkiye newspaper, 21 new undergraduate and 50 associate degree programs have been added to the ÖSYM guide this year.
