Prof. Dr. Gökhan Arslan visits Germany for 'Construction 4.0': International research project application to be filed
Istanbul Aydın University Civil Engineering Department faculty member and 12punto columnist Prof. Dr. Gökhan Arslan met with Prof. Dr. Alfons Buchmann, a faculty member of the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Mainz. During the meeting, they discussed "Construction 4.0-Digital Construction Management Applications" and announced that an application for an international research project on "Digitalization in Civil Engineering Education" will be submitted in October.

Istanbul Aydın University Civil Engineering Department faculty member Prof. Dr. Gökhan Arslan and University of Mainz Civil Engineering Department faculty member Prof. Dr. Alfons Buchmann met at Mainz University in Germany to collaborate on "Construction 4.0-Digital Construction Management Applications."
Prof. Dr. Arslan delivered lectures on the theme of "Industry 4.0 and its reflections on the construction sector."
An agreement was reached to pursue both student and academic mobility between Istanbul Aydın University and the University of Mainz, as well as to apply for European Union-supported Erasmus+ funds.
In this context, an application for an international research project on "Digitalization in Civil Engineering Education" will be submitted within the month of October.
