Snow disrupts education in 3 provinces
Due to heavy snowfall in Hakkari, education has been suspended across the province today, as well as in the Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak and the Yedisu district of Bingöl.

In a statement issued by the Hakkari Governor's Office, it was announced that due to adverse weather conditions affecting the city, education has been suspended on Friday, January 12, in all primary and secondary educational institutions, private teaching courses, Public Education Centers, and Guidance and Research Centers across the province.
The statement also noted that disabled and pregnant personnel working in public institutions and organizations will be considered on administrative leave.

The statement announced that education has been suspended in the district due to ongoing heavy snowfall and potential icing.

The statement indicated that due to heavy snowfall, frost, and icing, education has been suspended on Friday, January 12, for Kürdan and Döşengi Primary Schools, and exclusively for students covered by the bussed education system.
