CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik announced in a post on X that the YSK has overturned the decision for a recount in Beykoz.
Çelik stated the following:
"Our objection to the YSK has been accepted; the provincial election board's decision for a recount in Beykoz has been overturned by the YSK.
There are no longer any obstacles to our Beykoz Mayor Alaattin Köseler receiving his certificate of election! Welcome back, Beykoz Municipality.
The recount in Gaziosmanpaşa is continuing.
Our objections in Fatih, Pendik, Ümraniye, Arnavutköy, and Bahçelievler are ongoing. We are meticulously following the process!"
