According to the warning issued by AFAD, rainfall will intensify in Zonguldak, Bartın, and Kastamonu. A message form was sent to the governorships of the three provinces to warn against disaster risks. AFAD has also issued warnings to citizens living in the region.
According to the statement, 2,120 personnel, 645 vehicles, and 435 pieces of heavy equipment will be deployed to respond to reports. Motor pumps, water tankers, vehicles, and personnel have been dispatched to Zonguldak, Bartın, Kastamonu, Düzce, and Bolu against potential disaster risks caused by excessive rainfall.

The road providing access to the holiday resort was covered with water as a result of the Karasu Creek in the Boğaz area overflowing.
Many drivers turned back as approximately 100 meters of the road remained completely underwater.
Teams have initiated work with heavy machinery to reopen the road, which high-tonnage vehicles were struggling to pass through.
Bartın Deputy Mayor Sançar Biçer conducted an inspection in the area where gendarmerie teams have taken precautions.
