AKOM issues warning: Intermittent showers to affect Istanbul throughout the day

Residents of Istanbul should be cautious of weather conditions today. From the morning hours, the sky over the city will be mostly partly to very cloudy, and intermittent showers will be effective throughout the day.
According to AKOM, as temperatures approach summer levels, thermometers will show 18 degrees in the morning and 23 degrees at noon. In the evening and night hours, temperatures will drop to the 19-20 degree range. Istanbul's humidity level will remain high throughout the day, fluctuating between 50 and 90 percent.
The wind is expected to blow generally from the northeast (poyraz) at a speed of 5 to 20 kilometers per hour, light and occasionally moderate. Meanwhile, the amount of precipitation will remain between 1 and 3 kilograms per square meter. For those wishing to swim, the sea water temperature is reported to be 17 degrees.
The weather during the day is expected to be rainier in the morning hours, while becoming clearer at noon with occasional breaks in the clouds. In the evening and at night, cloudiness in the sky will continue.
HOW WILL THE WEATHER CHANGE TOWARDS THE WEEKEND?
Looking at the weekly forecasts for Istanbul, partly and slightly cloudy weather is expected on Saturday. No precipitation is expected on Sunday and Monday; the city will return to partly cloudy weather. However, on Tuesday, city residents should be prepared for a new round of intermittent and local showers. For Wednesday and Thursday, the weather clears up again; the sky will be less cloudy and clear.
It is noted that temperatures in Istanbul will fluctuate between 23 and 29 degrees throughout the week, and weather conditions suitable for the summer season will prevail.
