While sunny weather prevails in Istanbul during the week, temperatures will reach 28 degrees by Wednesday afternoon. Humidity levels are expected to fluctuate between 35 and 80 percent, with no precipitation forecast for today. The water temperature for those planning to swim has been recorded at 21 degrees.
Strong winds blowing from the northeast (poyraz) generally prevent temperatures in the city from reaching stifling levels. It is stated that northerly winds will blow at speeds between 15 and 45 km/h throughout the week. These winds provide a cooling sensation at night and in the early morning, while preventing oppressive heat during the daytime hours.
According to meteorological data, no significant change in air temperatures is expected in Istanbul on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures are forecast to hover in the 29-30 degree range, with no precipitation expected.
